Bloke across the road has just sprayed his Leyland
should he leave the roof as is and change to dark
interior or just paint in between the Union Jack same blue as car.

totally agree, take it to a panel shop to fix the body, then get them to paint it.

no union jack roof on a clubby either,
chequer pattern is acceptable, but only on a black or white mini.

Union jack roof looks awesome on a red roundy IMO. But not so great on a purple clubby.

Repaint the body the same red as the roof, or respray the roof a contrasting colour to the body.

I assume that is a decal on the roof...if it is in good nick and the fella likes the look of it...then suggest he goes over the purple with a better matching colour

Mate not everybody can afford to pay a panel shop 7-10 grand plus for body work and spray a car.

I dont think the union jack goes with the colour scheme, i would change it.
But in the end who cares what we think. If he likes it and had fun doing it/ applying/sticking it whatever, that is all that matters - i think the body only needs a very fine sand (1200 grade) and a cut polish

Good luck with it
Brenton
