Post subject:  Cootha Classic Hillclimb
As part of Brisbane's 150th year celebrations the HRCC (Qld) is bringing back the Mt Cootha Classic Hillclimb last run in 1915. (more info at http://www.coothaclassic.com.au/)
They hope to make it an annual event which would be fantastic as my house is about 5 min's away.

I am planning to apply for a competition spot in it :D
Is anyone else in Brisbane going to try and get a start in it? It would be great to get a big showing of mini's in the field (They expect 200 competition places).
They said entries open soon after Christmas so I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for the entry forms.

I`d like to enter, i`ve been on the side lines with Billy Westerman keeping me informed all along the way ,,, but i`m not sure if i`ll have a mini ready for it in time,,, i`ve been working on the hillclimb special more than anything lately but i`m pretty sure they won`t let it enter as it`s not very Histerical :-)

Just a quick update;
To all who do want to enter, the entry forms and supp regs are out, get in quick as the event will almost certainly be oversubscribed...

It's on the 30th and 31st of May and will be run on Mt Cootha in Brisbane. See the web address in the top post for more info

i think they are awarding places to entrants who have previous racing experience too.
