Hey just a quick questions. With 12 inch rims on a clubman do i need flares or spacers? If so what kind of spacers would i need? Thanks Blake |

What brakes do you have? Flares depends on a few things, chances are you'll need them but 12 x 4.5 inch rims with 145 tyres can be squeezed under, but it does depend on offset. |

just spaced drums will do, (an extra inch wider then non stepped drums) and any of the flares will do, the cheap plastic screw on type, or the 'S' type found on later model clubmans. both can be bought new. |

Ive got 7.5" disks. Ok im looking at the Minilife 12X5 (GREY) with sime/simex tyres from minisport so im guessing i'll need some flares. |

depends. the law says you will need them, as the tire will stick out past the wheel arch. you can risk it driving without them, but you will also get more stone chips etc, from rocks getting flicked up from the tires. |

You will need flares, but stock "Clubman S" ones should just cover them |

Yeh i think i'll just go some cheap screw ones for now and then get some decent ones abit later on. So i just need inch spacers on the rear? Can you just buy them to put on your drums or do you need to buy spaced drums? |

the law also states they are illegal because they make the car overtrack... with or without flares. |

nononono you will have to weld up 12 holes in your body if your going to do this! best go the S ones first off. look much better! |

ahhh good Point brickworx, now i have that problem I have some 10x7 mags on ATM and i have a bit of a problems with any bump lump in the road while driving the front end steering pulls A LOT to that bump or lump what can be done to fix this problem. it handles Great in cornering but going straight is a tad harder on a light/mild lumpy road while on a nice road that is Newer than other roads The car Tracks perfect with no hands on wheel. any options for me when i get further into this year of my slow rebuild on getting this and other bit sorted out. |

My 1200 ute pulls all over the road, it hits ruts or what ever is on the road and only has 195 wide rubbers on it... It can be pretty scary when your up it and merging on a motor way with road works happening and concrete barriers either side and traffic every where ![]() |

Ive put my rims on and they look great but i was just wondering at the front of the rear arches what is the little bit that sticks out with the round hole it for? Also there is abut a 10mm clearance between the tire and this bit that sticks out with the hole it. Is this ok? Im not going to get anything touching and rubbing? Thanks Blake |
