Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

yeah its a Bit over priced for a fairly standard clubby. even if it has had a lot of workshop servicing.

Maybe it's $40 a tank and you just have to do it 4 times.

I have just sent him a message stating....."Mate the distance from Emerald to Brisbane is around 850Km. No mini can make that distance on $40 worth of fuel. Let's say petrol is $1.20 a litre, that makes it 33.3 litres of petrol. That makes it that you are saying that this mini does 25.5Km per litre. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. Who are you trying to fool ?"

Perhaps it did most part of the journey on the back of a tow truck and he forgot!
He actually replied to me Saying " at the time fuel was between 84 and 96 cents a litre" Still on 33.3 Litres you will never do 850Km in any mini unless it is being pushed of course. I replied to him again telling him it is impossible.
I worked it out thet he is claiming to have done approx 25.5 Km per litre......Impossible.

Or they had to push it (he did say he replaced the radiator)

Well lets work out what year it was when he did that trip;
Average mini fuel consumption = 7L/100 km
7x8.35 = 58.45 L
40/58.45 = $0.684 per litre

So whats that mid 90's?

i want to get this fellas Number and offer him a more resonable $$ offer for the car if he is trying to sell it for 9000 he isnt interested in selling it to be honest ( no nice paint, no Disks, No recond engine or big block, ordinary interior). maybe this is wher the price of standard Clubbys are goin :) woohoo.
