I seem to have a few of these needles kickin around, Im assuming the DZ needle is a factory standard needle for 998??.... Maybe someone can help me im trying to select a needle for an 1100 with 295 cooper head, extractors and exhaust.. Trying to find a good starting point. single 1 1/2 su |

If its got a mild cam, a little bit of head work etc start with an M needle for the single 1.5 su |

I thought i rembered puttin in M needles in my twin 1 1/4's... isnt that right... Might have some hear?? |

In another thread we were discussing this, for a fixed needle HA, for a floating needle ADC both have the same profile and are slightly richer than the factory standard AN still 7,000 rpm again as recommended by Russell from MinisRus . |

The DZ fixed needle was std in stock 998 with 1.5" carbs from memory in leyland minis. Scott from Minitopia reccommends as a good starting point "M" needle/s for a mildly tuned engine but the only way you are going to find the best "set up" for any carb/engine is to get it on a rolling road/Dyno. |

i thought it would had been for a 998, or 1100s as i have about 4 1 1/2 carbs with them in it ... ok well seems like an allright place to start... |
