thats what we just watched on a genuine antique bmc video... then the first prototypes being tested in UK and europe... going back to watch some more its pretty interesting

just seen two monte carlo videos with minis in staring roles and wins... some crazy promo films (them BMC people musta been on acid...
and the original introduction video for the clubby

twasn't the Alec Issigonisis Story off UK Channel 4 was it....excellent doco on Mini :D

Just watched a great video (for the second time), The worlds greatest Rally cars.

Great production - goes through most of the successful rally cars since the sixties. Mini gets a good mention too.

Thanks to Grant for the video - there are still a few others on the disc I haven't watched yet. There is a copy of "rendevouz in Paris". We just watched that too. Anyone seen it??

It looks like probably early seventies and some nut has mounted a camera to the front bumper of a Ferrari and absoulutely canes it through the streets of Paris.

This guy is a nut and has to be seen to be believed :shock:
