so for the past few days id been trying to fix my radiator shroud in the moke, had a breakthrough today and got it to fit! (sorta...) with no front access to do the bottom radiator bolts to the mount i tried to do the wiggle and see if it stops hitting routine, so i turned the car on and slowly but carefully moved it around till it stopped hitting!!! hazzah!

*hand slips*

3hrs later, 7 stitches, alot of missing skin, fractured bone and also missing a nice chunk of bone i am home writing this to you!

please be careful working around moving objects, i feel like a complete dumbass, hell i know i am... in hindsight coulda done things differently, but ive still got the finger (just!) and all sensation still remains, basically the inside of the right hand pinky is now looking like fish guts, seeing a plastic surgeon on monday morning...

in the meantime... im looking for that bit of bone...


again, please be careful working on these old beast engines!

crikeys u crazy. hope everything sorts its self out well. geeeeewizzzz i hope u didnt hit ur head on the bonnet as well. DOH. very lucky u didnt loose a thumb. do u have the metal fan or plastic one?

At least you didnt get sucked into the motor and disappear so i'd say all in all it was a success

hope your finger heals quickly and that the doctor gave you lots of trippy painkillers
