Post subject: | Clubman Door Mirrors |
Hello, the Clubman mirrors are quite shaky, but I can't seem to see how to tighten them up. I was inside the door trim securing a loose door lock and tried to "feel" up inside the door to see how the mirrors are attached, but came up short - I couldn't figure it at all. To me it seems there is a secure base plate with the mirrors somehow attached... but I have no idea and it bugs me. Anyone able to set me straight - or point me in direction of new/better mirrors ![]() thanks Graham |

Take a look at the back of the spring loaded arm where it meets the body. If you look carefully you will find a screw facing forwards. Loosten this screw and the body will come off the mount. Then tighten up the mount and re-fit the body. Hang on I will take a photo... |

The trick it that the arms have to be on the right angle to allow the screwdriver in. I am glad it worked. The really are great mirrors and they look right. |
