Hmmmmmmmm,
A Metal Wind up bottle Jack With a three stage lift ,Very similar to the jack supplied with some early model Holden's from memory, The Jack was I Think Painted a Bronze colour :wink:

Hi

Thanks for that description John. It matches perfectly the one I just pulled out of a Moke I have wrecked. I wasn't sure if it was a correct item or not.

Mind you, the handle to wind it up isn't much good, totally rusted.

What compartment was the jack origional found in.... "was it just floating around in there or was there a propper way to fit it" also what tool was provided to undo the side compartment at the time?? 2 questions i have oftern wondered?

The jack was also accompanied by a special piece of wood to rest it on.

There's a photo of the jack and the jacking block on this thread on the Moke forum, about half way down page 2.
