Depending on your offset they should be fine on the back but if you are coming from 10" wheels then they will foul the front edge of your guards as you turn. With that size they will infact foul very badly.

Nothing an angle grinder won't fix.

im running 175/50/13's and they are fine on the rear, a little bit of cutting on the front guard is needed under the flare.

baracade has 175/60/13's on hes LS clubbie,, they are ok but do scrub and he has hi-los and im pretty sure there as high as they can go,, im talking 4wd high,, get some SIME 175/50/13's at $90 you cant go wrong.

175x50x13's will keep the same rolling diameter that you should be running to keep your speedo correct. Anything bigger and your speedo will read wrong.

The amount of metal to be cut off the front guard all depends on the offset of the wheel, and the type of brakes you are running.

The wider your track is = the greater the swinging arc will be = more metal will need to be removed.

OH and measure twice, measure again.... THEN cut

I wouldn't put Sime tyres on anything quicker than a billy cart. Bloody horrible things. In 13 inch there must be a better tyre than these.

yeh there not the best by a long way but hey there half the price of anything else,,,,

I have done 6000kms on them,,,5 burnouts and runs at the drag strip,,about 35 laps of a race track and there not showing any signs of wear,, i put them in the same catergory as the 10' falkons,, grip is ok, but they last forever..

I put a set of 13x5.5 on my mini last week to try from a freind. They had 175/50r13 rubber and they did not fowl on the guards at all.

I have a Roundie and have cooper s brakes on the front.

Yep most minis are fine with them, just when the car sits lower like mine when you need to start hacking,, plus the offset may have been nice, also 5.5 is a good size.

Did it foul on the inside, on the shock?

No not at all But I want to get 13x6 to put on it soon then I will have to cut the gaurds.

13x7 will rub on the inside of the gaurd if you use the orginal steering rack. Should use a shortened rack if can get one.

I can get a set of 4 of near new for $100 so worth a try i think.
Whats with a shorted steering rack?...how can you put in a shorter rack without putting
steering out?? :?:

But you have wheel spacers on the Mutant and that would stop the wheels from rubbing on the inside gaurds.
