It's always hard to put a price on cars, but seeing what you've done to it, I'd have to say you shouldn't have too much trouble getting 10 - 12k for it.

cheers Gerg

You've only had it on the market for 10 days....it's WAAAAY to early to start second guessing your price. The LS is most definitely worth the money you are asking, but there ARE problems. The fact is, you are selling a mini that isn't a Cooper or an S, and everyday people who aren't mini enthusiasts can't see the value in spending $12,000 on a car that is merely "cute".

This fact severely limits the market your car is going to appeal to, meaning only really enthusiasts, collectors, youth-rekindlers etc are going to take the price seriously. Otherwise it's more a case "Duh. It isn't even a Cooper S  ".

I'd say stick to your guns, because the value is obvious who knows what they are looking at, and actually understands what an LS is.

Chow, it's been FS for longer than that. DJ just made a new thread to 'bump' it back to the top.

Here is the original ad that was placed on the 26th Dec: http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=48715

what is ANYTHING worth these days?
in the short term there is very little selling and prices are already depressed.
i think it will get a lot worse before it gets better.
if you need to sell , be prepared to wait (unless that magic buyer comes along), otherwise think about garaging it until the market improves.

Yep,

Seems like quite a few extra cars are on the market - possibly harder to sell at your right price, but you only need 1 right buyer..........
