For the life of me I just can't get the 3/16 UNF screws to go in the holes :x

Are the fixing screws for these 3/16UNF or a self tapping thread? I don't want to have to put a through if I don't have to...

cheers

On my car (1970) the visors are self tappers, the RV mirror is 3/16 UNF (I think).

Ahhh, self tappers....it comes clear now

I didn't want to ruin a thread by jamming one in without knowing now the hoodlining and window is in...

I told you that they were self tappers in the last thread you started about your sunvisors. I even pulled a screw out of my Cooper S and took a photo of it to show you what they looked like.

Read your damn threads.

oops, sorry morris. I hope that screw wasn't too difficult to remove, photograph and put back in whilst you lay on your back across the gearstick and handbrake in your mini :P

I found the holes from the first pic, but missed the second reply...

I am only feeling about as unloved as usual.
Don't speed past Goulburn, the plods hide on the by-pass.

You could call in and pick up a Montego on the way back.

I don't care if it makes it to Melbourne, I only care that it makes it past the front gate.

The Morris 1100 Automatic would make it to Melbourne.
