THe good thing about being a useless mechanic like me is that when you do some work on your mini you dont have that little voice telling you "Hey, that's not the right tool for the job".

I do with what I have, LOL.

Brings to mind some advice I got when I first bought the Land Cruiser and planning a trip up to Birdsville. I was complaining to an engineer customer that the car was metric and all my tools I had accumulated to that point were imperial. He looked at me with a dead straight face and said "just buy yourself a Metric Shifter" :P

I have a collection f them, all diffirent sizes. THis one is my favourite because a) I found it and b) it has it's very own tool box.

You know I once undid a stuborn sump plug with that. Wish I had taken a photo of that one.

I agree. I just spent $$$$ buying a whole set of inperial sockets and spanners as I only ever had metric. Maybe in the future. For now I will just borrow Garry's stuff and use my giant shifter.
