my traveler sliding windows are jamed.

& i'm told the best way to fix it is replace all that shity felt i need the lot. ..

it's right crap.. i think it is still original hehe.


where is the best & cheapest place to buy it for the back sliding doors & the front. same as 850 doors.

The "felt stuff" that windows run in is generally called "bailey channel"

Spectrum and Grippy's rubber products here in Sydney supply it by the metre. In other states Scotts Old rubber co etc may be worth a go.

Generally you take a sample along and try to match it based on height and profile rather than being able to specify what you want over the phone.

Not sure if spectrum and Grippy's have a website with profiles online - they both used to produce hard copy catalogues or product sheets though.

Thought I read somwehere about using MG felts from Heritage MG in Sydney that were better.

Not sure about bailey channel, but the doc recommends a particular source of boot rubber (well documented here) and using MG external weatherstrip rubber on the front windows cut down to length, in preference to the usual mini supplied ones.

Minik King sell the MGB window rubber aswell, However these are only used on the windup window doors not the sliding window doors
