Hello All,
I am brand new to all this, so be gentle with me! i have recently purchased an old roundnose mini(shell only),i believe it to be a 1966 Deluxe, i am starting a resto job on her with my 2 teenage sons. We have found TWO numbers punched on the scuttle panel; 17794 and 17812 so i am a bit confused, can anyone out there help us narrow down its year etc before we start buying parts for it. Cheers tsb

Welcome Tsb. The numbers on the scuttle panel sound like build numbers, but the compliance plate will tell you all the details, Type, car no.,Engine no. & Colour. If you dont have the plate you can tell what body it is a number of ways, try and post some photos of your car and im sure we'll all be able to help.

Cheers,
David.
