i have drilled the top part of the crash pad in.

now where do i fit the dash. do i need to dill more holes.

i have all the brackets the 3 metal long brackets

seems like it just clips in & tighten the butterfly bolts up.

i'm a bit confused with the bottom crash pad.

is that just glued in?

how does it all sit..?

top crash pad is screwed in,
bottom crash pad is spray adhesived on.. then you have a metal lip on the inside.. like a chrome strip that goes over..

as for the dash there are 2 types can you get a pic of it ?

i bought the dash out of an rover so the kit is all done.

oh well thats quite easy then, no drilling required from memory, just just your hand in under neath the dash on the drivers side and through the glovebox or airvent on the passenger side from memory

ok cool..

what did you put behind the dash.

to enclose it from the engine bay?

if i put something in the dash it would slide up to the drivers side.

any idea what i should put behind to sound proof it?

dynamat? some one reckons it smells when hot?

or what do the rovers have behind there?

i dont beleive they have anything behind them...its full of wiring ect, but if need be you could always put dynamat or that hessian engine firewall stuff in there the sky is the limit :)

The rover sound deadening is a 1 inch thick layer or dense sponge with a 3mm layer of hard rubber glued onto it.
