Hello All, I am brand new to all this, so be gentle with me! i have recently purchased an old roundnose mini(shell only),i believe it to be a 1966 Deluxe, i am starting a resto job on her with my 2 teenage sons. We have found TWO numbers punched on the scuttle panel; 17794 and 17812 so i am a bit confused, can anyone out there help us narrow down its year etc before we start buying parts for it. Cheers tsb |

Welcome Tsb. The numbers on the scuttle panel sound like build numbers, but the compliance plate will tell you all the details, Type, car no.,Engine no. & Colour. If you dont have the plate you can tell what body it is a number of ways, try and post some photos of your car and im sure we'll all be able to help. Cheers, David. |
