Simple questions, searched but couldn't find a conclusive answer.

I have a 1970 K, the spare wheel area of the floor has been replaced. Would it originally have had a mounting / screw / whatever attached to the floor for securing the spare wheel?

If so, does it matter that i don't have it? I'm not going for concourse restoration, I just don't want my spare jumping around!

No, they were deleted 5 years earlier. Still, not a bad thing to have around, depends on how original you want it.

Moriarty,
A 1970 mini K would not have had a mount attatched to the floor for spare wheel.

Cheers gents!

I'll get a boot board in place, once I get the car back in one piece

Hey there Leigh,

Glad to see that you are still working on your "Bourke" mini.

I actually had time to work on my LS for a couple of days and managed to get a second primer coat on her and am now trying to get her sanded down for the repaint - barring family duties...

Hopefully will be coming back to the ACT Mini Club meeting this month!

Cheers,
Rob.

Hey Rob - a blast from the past!

Actually, this is my second Mini - the first one proved too much for my meagre skills

Mine is in primer too, tho I don't expect it will be painted and back in one piece before Xmas... But I have big plans for it, coming together gradually, so i shall just have to be patient 8)

Would be good to see you at the meeting on the 18th :)
