Hi All
I have been lead to believe that there is and Austin 1300 GT in Perth.
So to all the boys in Perth and surrounding areas does anyone know of one near them.

I'm requesting this as being a Sydney sider I will be going to Perth for an Austin Rally called Austins Over Australia. And while I was over there hoping to see this car that is supposedly over there.

Any info is appreciated.

as avid ADO16 collectors I can't say I've heard of one in WA - just yours and the blue on in NSW

would love to be proved wriong though - espeically if it's for sale

cause with owning one you just have the urge to document everyone that you come by and one day I heard about one in W.A so it was worth a shot.

Im no expert of what there is/isn't in Perth but I have never heard of one over here...

I am sure I have seen an Austin 1300 GT over here but at the risk of deflating your excitement I can't for the life of me remember where.

I seem to remember it being a mustard or light green colour with black vinyl roof and black interior.

This was last year sometime.

There was one for sale in Victoria a few years ago. A mate at work looked at it before he bought an 1100S instead. I'll ask him where it was.

we looked at one out at Breaside - NZ import - rustiest car I've ever seen

most of the GT fittings were fairly rough too - would have been a huge job even to reshell it

It would be really interesting to find out about the one in Vic.
I do know of one in Vic and it is supposedly done in the same colour scheme as mine I know this because I met the owner once and found a photo in the net that i thought was his.
But If anyone knows of any 1300 Gt's in Australia I would love to get photos of them and find out where they are cause my head count of them is up too about 7 which is:

3 in sydney (Own 1, Seen One) Other lead to believe to be in Penrith owned by a mini collector
1 in Vic (now maybe 2)
1 in Q'land
1 in Perth
1 in Canberra (Seen this one)

I think it was the one in Braeside. It was definitely ex-NZ and rusty.

The colleague that looked at is on leave. I'll ask him about it when he gets back.
