The '67 mini is almost finished in the panel shop & I told them I wanted to put under body sealer under all the bottom of the car & wheel arches, & paint the car in acrylic paint.
They said they thought minis never came out with under body sealer, & they were painted in acrylic enamel.
Underbody sealer - Should it be put under all the floor & wheel arches? - noise suppression & stop stone chips.
Paint - Original paint?
- Should I paint Acrylic / Acrylic enamel / 2 pack ?
- Is the boot area painted body colour or black?

id use the underseal it makes it look 8)
if you can, use 2pak, it leaves a better shine and is a harder product.
and yeah the boot is body colour

What leighton said.
I got a mini that had undersealer in the boot, anything i put in it came out with sone on it.
I really like the look of a fully trimmed boot 8)

There can be a difference between under body sealer and stone chip. The CAM stuff I use is a sealer which usually stays black and can't be painted over. The Anti-stone chip looks similar but can be over painted. I have only used the CAM brand so maybe there are others. I believe that there was some sort of sealer surface under the new cars. This is mine on the underbody and wheel arches. Boot is body colour with no sealer.

If you are having a paint shop do the job with all the good gear then I would go 2 pak. I painted mine at home in the driveway and used acrylic.
