Step pause turn pause pivot step pause?
Seriously, the big split spacer goes between the inboard bearing and the seal, a small solid spacer goes between the bearings.

I am about to put my set of 8.4 disc's back together and I was wondering which way they go back together. do they go seal bearing little spacer bearing big od spacer seal or seal bearing little spacer/ big od spacer bearing seal |

Just don't do what I did and get the callipers mixed up side for side, ie left on right and right on left That put the bleed nipple for the brakes at the bottom and not the top. The result was hours and hours of trying to get a brake pedal, then a complete brake system rebuild then a trip to my local mini specalist. They kindly pointed out my mistake.
