My wife and I are coming to N.Z north island in mid may for 2 weeks is there anything going on as far as minis are concerned. and what are the must see places that you would recommend.

Stick to the centre of the island...Hamilton, Cambridge, Rotorua, Taupo etc..then maybe North to Waitomo Caves....Auckland (Motat etc) or south to Levin and Southwards Motor Museum on the way to Wellington. Huka Falls is spectacular and if you have a few spare sheckles to spend a night in the lodge.

check out Auckland mini car club website, thats where i found the car shows that were on.
They are a friendly bunch of people too.
Pity its not the easter weekend your going, they are doing a good bye pork pie charity run from north to south. Sounds like it would be fun
