Down at the local car wreckers today to get a thermo fan for my brick and i grabed a Bosch HEC715 coil. Would this be ok to run with the D4R85-15 electronic dizzy?
It says it is for electronic ignition 12 volt.
By the way i got another D4R85-15 dizzy complete with rotor and cap for $ 22.
The thermo fan i found which should fit neatly under the guard is of a hyundi excel and it is the fan fitted if you have air conditioning.

Nissan Pulsar dizzy is rated for a 1.5 ohm coil.
Put a multimeter across the coil primary (the 2 small terminals) if it measures 1.5 ohms or more, yes it will work OK.
If much less than 1.5 ohm (I suspect it will be) you would probably blow up the module in the dizzy.

I cannot find the specs for that coil online, the Bosch Aust download page isn't working.

That particular coil was used on a Nissan Bluebird Series 2, 1983-1985 so quite possibly OK for the Pulsar dizzy.
