I was wondering if i needed to paint a grill white, would i have to prime it and then what type of paint would i need? and or what other processes would i need to do? |

I reckon you'd have to rough up the stainless pretty well so the paint would stick, get it really clean and use a good etch primer some clubby grilles were black as standard weren't they? |

Clubby grilles were matt black, with some parts not painted, to give the silver lines effect. On the 2 grilles I have stripped, the black was applied straight to the metal, with no primer......but when I re do my own, I will use an etch primer then matt black over that. |

Jam, did you have to prep the surface of the grill before you did it? what method did you use? |
