I can't think of a caption, I was gonna say the bobby said "hey, nice brick", but sgc beat me to it

that guy has the details wrong though, it's obviously a UK clubman, but he's made external door hinges - sheesh

it's got me thinking tho - I reckon that's my next project after the traveller - build a life size lego roundnose

I thought it was only the gearboxes that were made from Lego?

Or you can use Lego's Digital Designer software and create a virtual model. You can then send it to Lego and they'll make it as a kit for you, for a price of course

Check it out here http://ldd.lego.com/

Our Junior School kids love playing with this software 8) :D

I am so doing that! I loved lego as a kid but lost the knack for it in my mid teens.
Can't build for crap now.

I still get my technical stuff out from time to time.... I perfected a 4wd steerable car a couple of years ago - I know you can get special bits that do it now, but I wanted to do it with the old stuff

the kids and I set up a legoland for a few months at a time as well, using all the lego from when my sisters and I played with it as kids, we've got heaps!

but not enough for a whole car unfortunately
