Hi all Just wondering if anyone can tell me which positions in the switch panel the choke and heater cables go in. Also where in the firewall do they come out? This is in a Mk2 Cooper S. Cheers Steve |

Passenger side gets the choke, driver gets the heater. Heater control goes directly in front of the heater control knob under the dash. You have two choices for the choke. If you want the choke cable to approach the linkage from the passenger side of the carbs use the hole directly in front of it like the heater control does. If you want it to approach from the drivers side then use the hole immediately inboard of the heater control. I like top keep it tidy and have it approach from the the drivers side, but am unsure which was original. |
