gonna change drums to disc but can i still use the cv shafts that were on the drum set up?

you can use the shafts but the cv at the hub you have to change.

why you just change the end of the cv the shaft is the same. the ends just knock off.

There is a spring wire clip that holds them in. You grease CV up, fit a new clip, tap the new CV on, and ffs use a proper CV strap on the boot. If you don't have the right tool for it, 2 pairs of pliers works.
Don't use a cable tie... they slip off too easy or the lug end wears away.

M1100, Tiny is used to working on Jappo Crappo which get the whole shaft assy and CVs replaced as a unit.:mrgreen:
