They were used to bolt the car to fixtures on the assembly line. They serve no other purpose. ![]() |

cool they can come off then. i have never seen them on a UK car only the slots for the dolly on the assembly line |

And they are a great source of rust as they are just sealed with a putty (butyl?) which breaks down over the years exposing the inside of the sills to moisture. |

Have left them on now but covered up with the new sill |
