Stripes should always come in pairs to make things look symetrical, 1 stripe looks out of balance IMHO...

is there a standard width for bonnet stripes? i'm going to put a single stripe on mine (to cover 'large' paint chip), i'm thinkig 100mm wide. Any thoughts? |

Do what you like its your car after all..........as long as your happy with the end result  It really doesn't matter what others think INMO.
I had a centre stripe that went all the way over the car, was about 150 -200mm wide, contemplating doing it again but will wait and see. |

 The councils line markers only do pi$$y little lines about 50mm wide and only know how to do the crooked and in white
