Hi, I am Nicolás from Chile, and I have a question...the connections of the top ports (10 mm) is going to the front brake system and the lower ports (12 mm) is going to the rear brake system?????? the directions with the master cylinder, the connections to the pressure regulating valve are reversed compared to original??? zorry for my english Bye and thank's |

Hi Nicolas, welcome! could you tell us what year your car is, and what type of brake setup you have? From your question, it sounds like you have an 80's or 90's Rover mini, there are people on here who will be able to help, or at least put up a photo showing where the pipes go

The car is a Mini 1983, the brake system in front have disc brake, and the brake master cylinder is the yellow tag with the top ports of 10 mm and the lower ports of 12 mm, but my question is how the connection are going? The top ports connect the pipes of the front system and the lower port connect with the pipes of the rear system??? Ok, my profile I will filled, zorry Thanks |

Hi Venthur, I learnt this the hard way. the front brake pipes go to the top outlet on the yellow tag master cylinder. if you have it the wrong way you wont get enough fluid to the front disks I found.

thanks '77 clubby van, I put the front brakes pipes in the lower outlet and the brake disk don't stop!!!!!Next I changed the position, front-top and rear-lower but the diference are not big....I think that the brake master cylinder is in bad condition. 
Thanks...my front disks is a adaptation of other car for 10" wheel. |

the 12mm is for the rear, the 10mm is for the front, according to my books. this means that they are the differend to the one before with 2 10mm connections think you mean this one http://www.allbrit.de/thumbnail.asp?Fil ... 7&Size=600 |
