just wondering if anyone has put central locking in there car and if they recommend it be done at all?

whats it doing? they are pretty straight forward (mount the actuator, connect it to the rods, and wire it in) but the problem most would have is with the door car hitting the metal rod i would say.

It'll lock itself when I drive over a bump - even the slightest ditch in the road.

I now can only use the unlock button to lock and unlock.

And sometimes it just won't lock.

Sounds to me like a wire has worn through the insulation. Look around where they go from the door to the body. :wink:
