On my 77 van, the brake pipe goes from the master to the T piece mounted to the bracket which involves the clutch hose and engine steady. My 76 clubby sedan is in pieces and there is no allowance for the T piece on the brakcet, does it go to the box section under the master or to the diagonal brace to the inner guard? |

No no, higher up than that, real close to the master. Where do i actually fit the T piece that splits the line to the back onto the car? |

The top one might have helped if i could see where the brake pipe went. Heres pics of mine, on the van its easy to see the T is bolted on the bracket, no such bracket on the blue mini... The hole in the bulkhead is for the choke cable (even though i don't use them...), the small far left hole is where earths bolt to to i think it must bolt to the slightly larger hole 2nd from left... |

If it's going to use a single line system, I'd just braze a nut on the firewall and screw that bolt in. ![]() |

![]() Nice suggestion, but then i would be damaging my pretty paint, and besides i ran out of oxygen... I think i will just bolt it to the choke hole. |

Tombo, Your missing the little bracket that is bolted on with the clutch cylinder hose to the body. Have a close look at those pics mate. Dave |

yeh as dave said, the piece with the vertical fold in it that your T piece goes onto is a seperate piece and is what your after. It sits on top of the bracket welded to the fire wall, under that nut. |

I'm sure I've got one somewhere I could send you Tom, but have a hunt through your bits'n'bobs - though it'd take you 2 minutes to make one with a bit of angle and a bolt & nut |

Yeah i see that bracket now. Oh well, it's bolted to the firewall now, looks neat too. ![]() Put in fluid, bled and now it has brakes ![]() Purple fluid, dot 5 silicone fluid, stable boiling temp and wont soak moisture from the air to corrode cylinders, which are stainless sleeved now anyway. Not cheap. |
