Hey,

got a local car thing on here locally on saturday, im pretty sure i'll have the only mini there, and usually minis dont fair too well inthis town, people always taking the pi$$.

I was thinking of just turning up rolling low as, with some "O'malley Eyes" as below:

Any other ideas i could do to cause a cool looking stir amongst a group of holden driving misfits?

cheers

Cam
P.S Keep it clean!

I saw a picture (maybe from the NSW mini car club) of mini with teeth. It had white pieces of card cut out in triangles and arranged around the grill as teeth. It was a pretty cool (and very simple) effect.

where about's in country vic are you cam?

just make a big sign that says "ITS NOT F%$^CKING CUTE"

I hate when people say my car is sooo cute.
If I was going for a cute look it would be PINK!

I have seen the eyes work well with the chrome eyelids on top but instead of in the middle they are rotated around into the centre ( closer to the grill) to give it that "WHAT YOU LUCKIN AT SUCKA" LOOK.

How about a couple of huge exhaust tips, and a fake shaker on the bonnet, and a few blades on the wheels a la Mad Max?

it's OK to just show up with it looking the way it's supposed to look..... it's a car, and when it was new, it's purpose was to be cheap practical transport, with a heater

ask the flashy ute drivers when they last had a load of bricks in the back

ask the commodore and falcon drivers about which baby seat they think works best in terms of safety and ease of putting the kids in, or if it's a wagon, ask how many boxes of stuff they can get in the back for when they're visiting their sales outlets

I get a kick out of it when someone says they've got an XR6 or some other overrated tank - "ohh, a family car, there's 6 of them in the carpark when I go to pick up my kids from school, very practical"
