I pulled the flywheel off the motor and the three points at which the pressure plate bolts to looks like it has had an angle grinder used on it. Why would someone do this? The clutch shuddered like buggery so if the pressure plate was sitting at an angle I guess it would be the cause. Comments? I guess I might need another flywheel.

I guess they'd do it cos they're an idiot! sounds a lot like you'll need a new flywheel....

can you post a pic? I wouldn't mind seeing what they've done
