Well just renewed the cooling system on the van, as it has been running hot. New radiator, watrepump, thermostat, top, bottom and bipass hoses all put in yesterday afternoon.

Go to put fuel in it today after I went and bought some coolant, and was worried to why there was no fuel in the tank at all! Put about 4 litres in from the mower can, and had a look under the tank. A LEAK! I started it up to see if everything was ok in the cooling department, all seems good. Then I started looking at the religeous tank. The more I whiped it with a rag, the more it leaked... and in a few different spots! So now gotta get that done up.

I need to get it driving so I can drive it places to get quotes on getting the body done up and sprayed!

Should be a new car by the end of it all!

Oh... PS... my 1275 LS has under 400km until it is new again!

More bad news... took the tank in to get looked at, 19 holes in the bottom. Need to look for a new one or possibly have this one fixed... but it can't simply be soldered. :(

Does anyone sell brand new tanks?

Van tanks are different. They fit under the car at the back behind the subframe.

Options are repair the tank, buy a new tank (prefer not second hand) or adapt a tank from something else.
