Basically I tried searching on this forum but get 27,000 results back. I was wondering if there is a realiable source of information on features and specifications that mini's came with when they left the showroom floor.

I am particularly interested in clubman info from 71-78.

Cheers.

I don't know of any lists in particular. However mini experience have covered most models (a lot of models). Otherwise, people on here will most likely be able to help.

Ok, the Leyland Mini 1275 LS, did they come with twin tanks as standard like Cooper S?

Whats the difference between GT LS and 1275 LS.

Cheers

GT = Cooper S in clubby form, twin tanks, disc brakes, 1275 twin SUs, remote shift, Tacho, early 70s

998 LS = 1977ish, contessa mags, drum brakes, radio, velour seats twin horns spotlights, 998 single SU, rod shift

1275 LS = 1978 long range petrol tank, 8.4" disc brakes, 12" steel wheels with hubcaps, 1275, single SU, radio, velour seats twin horns spotlights, rod shift

A summary anyway

No, never twin tanks, but they had a larger 35 litre fuel tank. This more or less became the standard mini fuel tank from then on for british production.

It would be great if you can scan them to a PDF file and have them available for download or email them to people who want them. When you get round to it I would like a copy, my email is [email protected]

Cheers
