These rare? some guy in uk has em for sale he had em on a 1330 which i have? over fuel the engine? gimme sum input pls guys

I would have thought twin HIF6's would be a bit big for most Mini motors, they usually came on bigger engines. Good for a MGB perhaps. I wouldn't say they're particularly rare, twin HIFs maybe considered rare, but you'll find twin HS6s standard on some British cars (so basically as rare as any other twin SU setup, except perhaps twin HS2s).

I'd stick to twin HS4s on a 1330 unless it is seriously worked, or a single HS6. Or something Italian.... :lol:

And they're quite old ones judging by the dashpots. Nicely polished! I always cheated on my SUs and fitted alloy covers over the dashpot assembly, rather than trying to polish them up.

I run a Single HIF44 on Morris 1100+60 REcam...twins, well 1330 I would think you would be better with a single jetted correctly on a Rolling Road (Dyno)...Depending on the price of them and the price of shipping...I would check on the Shipping first.
Otherwise....Dellorto 45...jetted correctly :wink:

i have twin 1.25" SU's but the pots are both on the left side when lookin from the front. sumone told me this give on hard cornering but i have never experienced it.
