Whats the best mini related item you picked up at a garage sale?
Two weeks ago i got word about a garage sale in Brisbane that had lots of mini bits and no one was buying any of it.
My mate that told me lives around the corner and isnt totally mini informed but i went last sat for a look. Unfortunately the sale was not on but was opening again next sat.
So off i go this morning bright and early, and was the first one there.
Sure enough, Heaps of car gear. Mostly Datsun and Morris Minor.
As tempted as i was to get all the Morris Minor gear to pass on to others, I held back. Sorry.
I ended up coming home with a wood grain momo steering wheel, a morris steering wheel, smiths temp gauge, Morris dash fascia, ramps and stands, 1100 badge and Clubman S badge, a grinder, set of jumper leads, floor creeper and tool creeper and a few other bits.
Good Fun.
Anyone interested in the morris gear, i could drop in tomorrow as im going past.

In the early to mid 80's I bought a MKII Cooper S from a garage sale in Payne Rd at the Gap here in Brisbane.
Price was $750 dollars.
Eventually wrote that one off on the way to work one day
