IT is funny but this has to be the most annoying job I have had to do on my mini yet.
I have tried to thread a piece of fence wire through and then pull a string through with that but it gets stuck/wont go forward/wont go back/drives me round the bend.


Anyone know a magical way that does not involve me getting out any ryobi products?

Don't use Ryobi get a Makita :lol: . I can only think do what your doing and try it from either side (drivers and passengers), failing that train a mouse.

Any wire, string etc you join together tape it up smooth and lube it with oil.

Works on BA Falcon bonnet cables (i don't remove the guard, i cheat)

For putting wires through gaps like this is always best to use thet piece of plastic strip that fits in the end of tongue and groove boards. It is stiff and also flexible. Drill a hole in the end of it and tie the wires to it andis it a a pull through. But what you are doing would be best to lower the Fuel tank as the wires have to be cliped in place and not left hanging to rub and wear and eventually short out. Especially around the Fuel tank.
