im gonna fit the bigger rims rather then cutting i have been told. why not get the car guards rolled.. then fit the flares back on no cutting on respraying. anyone done this to fit wide rims. or you can do it at home with a heat gun & a mallet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXF4ZcpVufU |

Sorry dude but mini guard lips go out, other cars it goes in. Rolling it will achieve nothing for tyre clearance. |

rolling the gaurds wouldnt do anything to help steering clearance on bit wheels. you need to take material off the front of the gaurde to stop the wheel hitting on turn, not to stop it hitting on bump |

Just etch prime the edge where it's cut and put some paint on it, spray or brush, use gloss it seals better. |

not if you tape the area your cutting using masking tape, cut it carefully, and when you dolly out a new lip put tape or a rag on your dolly. no stress if the paint cracks around the lip.. your going to need flares anyway just touch up the chiped areas and refit your flares |

wouldnt cost much more then a couple of hundred to get someone to do it.. and paint it.. you wouldnt have to respray the whole thing cos you made a small cut on the gaurd be just a small blend out in that area |
