What are the pros and cons on angled or straight heater taps if you are not fussed on originallity and just want to shut the hot water off. |

What heater, I thought you had the freshair one? ![]() As for heater taps, the old straight manual brass stopcocks (like a Minor)were most reliable. The ones on a Clubby heater are least reliable, and the S one on the head is in between. |

Changed my mind on the fresh air heater (didn't want the brake booster under the parcel shelf) and got a Clubby one but it doesn't have a tap - may try Wild_Willy's fix or just put a tap on the block. |

Heater taps on the clubbies are crap just take it off and fit hose straight on so water flows always. During Summer you want get any heat unless you have the fan on also which during winter is when you want it anyway. I think it was willy who found a Holden modified to fit also |
