Looking at some new seats from the uk and wondering about killer postage?!?! Anyone had any experience?? Cost$$$$$$$ |

idd be guesing postage would be lots.. woud be cheaper just to find seat here ..unless the ones in uk are rare/hard to find items?? |

Be careful... I bought a Cobra seat in the UK a few years ago but it costs twice the purchase price for it to be shipped to the US. The thing to be careful about is that while you can check shipping costs by weight you will find that the seat shipping price will be calculated using a cubic capacity equivalence factor. Recently I had a LCB manifold quoted at 62UKP based on weight. This changed to 78UKP when they fronted at the post office and had the package dimensions measured...... Cheers, Ian |
