Searched through all our suppliers that sell sockets, and found that Ko-Ken make a 1/2" drive 1-1/2" socket (fits flywheel). Your friendly hardware store (Mitre 10) should be able to get you in one for under $30.

Good thinking, about time someone did that.
I got a 3/4 drive one years ago and welded an old 1/2" drive socket (5/8AF) on top. This makes it long enough to do the balljoints too. 8)

I have a 3/4 drive socket that I ground a hex on the back of so I can drive it with another big 3/4 drive socket.
Great for balljoints and it still slips back into the socket case.

I got mine from blackwoods on corporate discount

it's 3/4 drive, but cost me about $6, and the 3/4 to 1/2 adapter was another $6 :P

I will need to report this transgression to my superiors!!!!!!!!

I was going to post up that we ( Blackwoods) sell 1-1/2 deep sockets in 1/2"dr but it is easier and cheaper to get 3/4"dr and an adaptor

jeez, where do I start, do you want them sorted by price, location, discount?

tell you what, I'll do you a spreadsheet, might be too big to email, I'll buy an external hard drive and post it to you, it should fit on a 500mb drive - *just*
