hey guys i jsut got my car registered it has been registered for 3 days all was going good apart froma few lil things hear and there. i got into it yesterday and my brakes were shocking nearly straight to the floor so i jacked it up adjusted all the brakes on each wheel and they were a bit beta but still no good so me and my older brother whent to bleed the brakes we started at the back wheel and pump pump pump and then my bro goes what did u do i said nothing he said i got no pedel i looked at front wheels and fluid all over the left hand side so i went around to the front and jacked it up pulled wheel off. there was brake fluid every were i pulled the hub off and my (brakes ) fell onto the ground into a hundred peices:( the piston inside the wheel is trashed i got 850 brakes so much to my disapointment it will be off the road for some time till i can buy some more pistons for my brakes..... :(

If one wheel has failed there is a good chance that all the others will soon follow.
If the car has not been used in a long while I would replace all the rubber components in the brake system.

Might be worth checking the master cylinder over as well, they really dont like being pumped when theres no fluid in the system.

If you have money to blow get stainless or hard brass sleeved cylinders.
They don't corrode, so down the track you will only ever need do replace rubber parts.

Bit strange that the piston came out, maybe you have oversize drums and standard shoes...

Sorry it started off on a sour note after getting it reg'd only the other day......it will be much better once you've changed those slave cylinders out...its easy enough.

hey went out there though yer i am gunna fix this brought the brakes off my bros car which he rolled they are working fine nothing wrong with them when he had it so i pulled hub back of went to undo hose which goes to the piston and it is rusted on there :( felt much beta when i opened the mail and 900 dollars for me thank u thats should get the brakes fixed lol
