it stays on a angle so that the wind comes in whilst driving. Mine stays on an angle letting air in for like 5 seconds then slams shut. ![]() i've searched the forms threads and i must suck at using the seacrch section cause i can 't find anything. ![]() any help appreciated. fiji |

At the forward corner of the quarter glass is a nyloc nut. It points down at an angle and is pretty well impossible to get to without taking the door apart. At least I've never been brave enough to give it a go. You could try and get a 1/2 inch socket on a 1/4 drive ratchet and try to stick your hand in there I suppose.... |

the top hinge seems to be fine ,,, but ty for the comments. MICK = legend. the sockets didn't work well as the clearance is pretty tight i think with the door opening mechanism, i'm guessing ![]() so used the appropiate 11 mm spanner long thin one and all done. took about 20 mins. ![]() pretty stoaked now. beer oclock. |

Well there you go... I always thought I wouldn't get my hand in there with a spanner...unless you have freakishly small hands? Not a little people are you?? ![]() |

Sometimes when I am doing stuff like that I tie a safety string to the spanner so I don't drop it into the depths of hell. ![]() |
