Hi, Im looking for a spotlight pod. The ones made of fibreglass that attach to the bonnet, kind of like the picture below. Except for on a mini.

Does anyone know where i could get one? And how much they cost?
If not looks like ill have to make a foam mold and get busy with fibreglass.
Cheers,
Joe

Unless you build up an all out rally car I'd have to agree.

What I think you're trying to say is get a spotlight bar from minisport etc like this one Image

Please try to keep you negative comments like those to your self, or say that you don't like them. blue_deluxe might like that style. It's their car and is asking for help in finding out if there is a pert like that for minis.

Wow, i think i touched a nerve. I figured it as a different alternative to spotties off the front. My other plan is to get 4 big spotties on the front.
The pod looks like this

I apologise for the picture before, just a quick search.

Yeah, if i get something like that theyd be removable. Not all that practical as a daily, but would get a lot of looks on a rally replica.

 Jimmy i think you need to take a valium or 2 :!: :P

The light pod isnt (to my knowledge) road legal but here are a few pics of my car and where i've mounted my broad beam and pencil beam lights. I have had them in different configurations and found this to be the best/most effective. I have been questioned once by 1 police officer about their position but he was having a bad night and seemed to not like older cars.
Anyways here are some pictures of the front of BALLISTIC

:D Personally......do what you like with your car and if you have a vision or look that you wish to achive do it.....you dont have to live inside the square :!: 8)

I had 4 lights (only two of which were wired up, the other two were just dummies for effect) across the front of my car when it went for a RWC in Victoria early last year, and was told:

1. The vehicle can have max. 4 lights fitted, including the headlights
2. Lights mounted above a horizontal line drawn between the headlights are not allowed.

I even had to remove the two inoperable, decorative lights to get a pass.

As said, this was the requirement in Victoria, Queensland may be different.
