Post subject: | Indicators not working |
hi all today, the little girl decided that the indicators aren't really important and that they should stop working. Basically, when i put the indicator on, it "blinks" once or twice and then dies. Same goes for the hazard lights... any idea why, and how to fix it and where to get parts from really really quickly (can't driver her until she is fixed?) thanks Deb |

If it flashes normally, and all the bulbs are flashing as they should. I would suggest looking at the flasher can relay. It may have a worn out old contact. Swap it out with a known good one (it just unplugs) and replace it with a new one from supercrap or otherwise. They cost between 13 and 30 bucks for the flash flashers, but a standard flasher can is fine. |

It will have one of three plug shapes, so pull the one you have out before you wander down to be sure you get the right one. it will be in the isle with the electrical bulbs etc, hanging on the rack in the same little packages the connectors etc come in. |

Just keep turning the indicator arm on and off. Then you can customise the indicator cadence to the music you are listening to. Country and Western, Polka, Rockabilly and Trance. |
