The question is why doesn't if have a plate? If the owner has used it to get rego on a 'Choke', then there will be 2 cars registered with the same body number..... How you might get around that? I am unsure, but be carful or you may be stuck with a car that you can't legally register, always ways to get around that I guess ![]() |

get the ID's off the seller, Morris 1100 and others will be able to tell you what year it is and what sort of plate it should have |

Is it an original Moke, or is it a Kit Moke. Mini and Moke World in Sydney used to build Moke Shells, they patented a design, so i dont know how many of them are on the roads compared to original ones. |

As others have said, yes and no. There maybe valid reasons why there is no plate. I would suggest getting as much info on the body (numbers and locations) and either going to the RTA or your local police station with them. If it was me I would rather find out beofre I spent a fortune if there were issues with the body. Shoot me a PM if you need any other info. Scott |

Looks like a plate behind the fuse holder where it should be. My sons old Moke had the fuse holder over the plate and I had to remove it to read the numbers |

engine number is 10YF/U/H2254 if thats help to anyone That VIN (actually is compliance number, not VIN) is just the prefix, there must be other numbers following to identify the body. If they are not there, I would leave it... |
