Ok so I have my rack in many pieces.
The only parts that need replacing are:
• One of the angled washers (belleville washers I believe their name is called - already have a spare sorted).
• The bush that goes in the end opposite the pinion - where can i source this bush? I think the Doc & others have replaced this with a nolathane product?
• The seal that goes around the shaft --- where the column slides on to.

So yeah, just need to know what the replacement parts are for these. & where to get them.

&& Any other tips would be great.

OH... do i "Need" to run the gaskets that hold the shims on the smaller and larger end plates? Will loctite master gasket cement be ok??

Replace BOTH those Belleville washers, they fatique with age.
When you shim them, get the washers to compress as flat as possible, without locking the rack up.
They only break because they flex too far when things get worn.

If it's an Oz made rack (13/16" actual rack diameter) Nolathane do a rack bush for it, p/no is 41039.
Karcraft sells a nylon bush for this too, their p/no is KC2872.

Note that UK racks are 3/4" dia, and these parts don't fit them.

Check the bearings, if not rough you can re-use them. All the Mini places carry these. Fit a new seal.

I use Loctite 515 Master Gasket sealant, no paper gaskets required.

Fill it with OIL not grease....... 90/140 was recommended but 85/90EP works OK.
The factory that made these racks (Cam Gears) recommended that ALL racks (even the later grease filled ones )be topped up with oil.

Yep I have bought them from Karcraft, and Mini Automotive.
Fit new boots too. I use the original metal clamps on the rack body, but cable ties are OK on the shafts.
