Just after some advice from someone who is up on their Transport SA rules and regulations...

Would there be a problem registering a car in SA if it has a half or full roll cage? Am looking at one interstate but first wanted to make sure i'm not going to rock up at the identity inspection when I get it back here and be told 'no chance mate'.

Pretty sure a half cage is ok, but you have to remove the back seats and belts.

Think I answered my own question:

http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/pdfs/per ... etin_3.pdf

Full roll cage not allowed, Tombo was spot on - half cage is ok if you remove the back seats and belts.

Thanks folks!
